Sometimes my mind is so busy thinking about things that it is hard to turn off, and go to sleep.  To eliminate this problem I have started thinking about all the things I am grateful for.  It takes the focus off all the things going on and puts me in a place of gratitude. As a result I feel fortunate and blessed. It also has a calming effect and allows me to sleep easily.  Try it for yourself and see if you feel peace and love.
